Had a great time in the morning with the A Team ... Truly A pleasure watching these professionals at work.

Talk about well listened to ... a few callers phoned in saying that they knew me from my days back in college and just happened to listened this morning. Looking forward to tonight's show. Griff is hosting the beginning of tonight and I'm headlining the show .. I'm sure there will be a few guest spots as well . I'm just getting back from taking a ride on MARTA forgot just how much fun that could be .. talk about visuals



ATLANTA is full of them ... from the most astute business person to the local with a fresh jheri curl...and when i say fresh I mean right out the box curls right off the rollers. I wish I could have taken a picture of her without offending her... LORD knows you don't want to piss off nobody that got a fresh Jheri curl you can risk getting your ass whupped and grease all over you clothes.


The rest of the week was more than fun as well...The crowds came out in droves and for the most part we had excellent connections ... i did have a few rusty moments ( yeah even us professionals don't always have 100% shows even when we give 100% effort )

Big Ups to the entire Uptown Comedy Corner staff for making my visit noteworthy. If you are in Hotlanta make sure to stop by and catch a show from the hilarious shows to the frisky wait staff you won't be dissapointed .
Men if you are right next door is the Elite Dancer Strip Club.. but beware there is no weight limit on the dancers .. actually saw one that looked like she was pregnant and I'm not talking about just pregnant either .
I'm on some 8 month she was ready to deliver sh*t!!! One of my strip club companions whom I shall protect and omit his name from this posting was so out done he was ready to leave ... me being the trooper I am I was like nah let's stay she might give birth to that muf$cka.

I'm mad behind on keeping pace with making sure you are informed about just whats happening in the world according to me . Do know if I ever go silent blame it on me living so that I might have something to write about . The past few months I have done quite some traveling ... In June I toured Kuwait and Iraq performing for the troops. Our first stop was in Kuwait City . The soldiers on the base gathered outside and we performed on a make shift stage in 100 degree weather . I will be the first to admit that this trip was quite an experience . We had bombs go off on a base that we were housed at, endured unbelievable heat and unmerciful flies. People think the Iraqi's are the enemy believe me its the insects and the sun that are winning the war over there. The soldiers truly enjoyed themselves during the shows , so many of them came up afterwards to say how much they felt like they were at home being able to unwind and forget themselves in laughter . When you hear people say things like this to you makes going through unpleasantries for 12 days not so bad when you realize that they have 365 days of this as their reality.

I dont know if its my big nose or what but it never fails that when I go overseas I bump into the funky man or woman that gives less than a care others might be offended by their musky disposition. It happened to me when we left Kuwait and landed in Iraq . It must have been common knowledge amongst the soldiers that the bus drivers on the airfield didnt do DO. When we departed the plane and loaded up on the bus I noticed all the soldiers piling up in the back . Now I wouldn't have tripped if it was just the brothers doing it but all the white dudes we huddling up .. I mean in a fashion that would have made Rosa Parks proud. By the time I got on the bus with my gear there was only one place left and that was right next to the driver. He lifted his arm up to give me direction and the odor that was set free almost choked me . It's like the driver had bathed in kimchi.

Early Morning :
Hey everyone it's your boy Cortney Gee about to call it a night so that I can wake up and make funnies with the #1 Morning Show in Hotlanta " The A-Team". My very good friend and fellow comedian Griff is a part of the crew. I'm still mad with him over him letting me over sleep when Janet Jackson was in town . Griff knew good and damn well i have had a crush on Ms Jackson ( cause I'm nasty ) since she was Charlene on Different Strokes. It's probably best that I didn't meet her at least my fantasy is still intact and she secretly desires me . I would have hated to really meet her and have to swallow the harsh pill of her diggin Todd Bridges and Jimmy The Cricket oops I meant Jermaine Dupri . Wonder what she must think seeing she is dating a dude that was probably named after her brother . I know you readers are thinking I'm just hating and you would be right .

As you can see I'm back writing so come on back and I will grace these pages with more of my mental dribbling... Peace
